Apple’s move to drop 32-bit apps (macOS Catalina and later) rendered many legacy Sysex tools useless. The 2021 C6 update recompiled the application as a native 64-bit executable. This means it runs seamlessly on (backwards compatibility tested). No more terminal commands or wrapper apps.
Windows environments offer much better backward compatibility. On Windows 10 and 11, the 64-bit operating systems can still execute 32-bit binaries natively.
Creating a post for in 2021 is tricky because the software was officially retired by Elektron at the end of 2020.
