Clocking in at around 24 minutes, the episode leaves very little room for filler. It opts for a relentless, cascading structure where one safe room falls immediately after another.

Just as the survivors think they have found a temporary safe haven, the horror escalates. The threat is no longer confined to the tentacle beasts; a zombie outbreak begins. As some survivors attempt to escape by boat, they are confronted by these new undead horrors. In a tragic turn, a mother is killed, forcing her child and the child's brother to flee. Their desperate flight proves futile when the brother is also bitten and transforms into a zombie, turning on his own sibling.
